This Environmental Justice Microsite was written and compiled by PWCFC associates Beth Rose Middleton and Leah Wills.

Beth Rose Middleton is a research assistant for Forest Community Research and the Pacific West Community Forestry Center. She is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Science and Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. Her primary interests are in environmental justice, community health, and increasing communication between Native American and mainstream approaches to resource management. She has taken the lead on the PWCFC's environmental justice work. (Email: bethrose@nature.berkeley.edu)

Leah Wills is a program associate with Forest Community Research. She works on water and water-related issues including rural-water rights protection and watershed rehabilitation and reinvestment. She received an M.A. in Rural Development from California State University, Chico. She has been involved in the PWCFC's work on environmental justice and water.
